OK, so I've not kept up with the weeks of this Challenge very well. I think I just finished week 8. Yeah, I look exactly the same as I did 8 weeks ago. But, I think I finally got my eating back under control. WOrkouts in the gym have really been quite good. I'm able to lift heavier than I had been, so I'm glad about that. Cardio has suffered a bit, so have to work on that. Plan on adding in some biking/spinning to see how that helps. Here are meals for today and totals:
M1: 6 eggwhite omlette, 1/2 cup fiber one cereal no milk
M2: Protein Pancakes
M3: 5 oz veggies, 1 can no salt added shredded chicken, 1 can soup at hand blended veggie medley
M4: 1/2 cup brown rice, 3 oz turkey filet
M5: Advantedge Carb Control Caramel Apple Bar
M6: 5 oz salmon
Totals 1257cals 18g fat 132g carbs 146g protein
So, all-in-all, not too bad.
I did the Breast CAncer 5K run yesterday. I finished...I didn't hurt myself, and I wasn't last. The 3 goals I have for every race I do. Time sucked as it was so stinking cold (windchill of 29° at the start) plus as I eluded to above, my cardio has been less than stellar. My time was 31:23 which isn't terrible, but not the 29:20 of last year's run. Oh well! It was for a great cause.
Hope everyone's doing well. I have less than 7 weeks before my trip to Germany, so I have 7 weeks to kick some serious ASS here and lose 3-4% body fat! I know I can do it!!!!!
