OK, here we go people. I'm calling Monday Day 1. A new 12 weeks. I had a horrid, HORRID challenge due to all the crap that went on in my life. My illness, stress at work, my mom's illness...it just keeps going and going.
So, what I've done is this: I spoke to my workout partner this evening. We are taking a break from each other working out for 4 weeks. We each are pretty burnt out, just in general, so we are just going to do our own thing. I'm going back to the basics. I'm going back to just PLAIN BFL style workouts for 4 weeks. The only thing 'extra' I'm going to do is on weight training days, I will do extra cardio....running probably after work for a few short miles. Nothing exotic. I'm hoping this will allow my shoulder to heal from whatever ailment it has, as well as help my brain and my emotional eating get back on the right track.
I did a light BFL UBWO on Monday and I did cardio yesterday, so I'm pretty much on track. I need to do some LBWO tonight and then cardio tomorrow morning. While it hasn't been the workouts thats thrown me off (nutrition would be the culprit) I just feel taking a step back and reevaluating what I'm doing, how I'm doing it and quite frankly WHY I'm doing it will be very beneficial. After 4 weeks, Krisanne and I will regroup and start working out together again.
My biggest obstacle is emotional eating. I'm not sure why I do it, but I have been HORRIBLE lately and have gained around 13 lbs. I KNOW that I can get that off before CW as long as I eat clean. I'm just wiping the slate clean, and everything is going to be just fine. I know it.
So, help break in my new thread. Keep me company for the next 4 weeks, BFL style, and then lets see where things go from there......
Goals, you ask? Hmmm, the only specific goal I have at this point is do the workouts and eat clean. The rest are always the same:
1: Lean legs out
2. Get abs back
3. Get to around 15% BF
and always,
4. Help at least one person with their challenge.
My beginning stats are horrific, so please dont run screaming:
weight: 155 YIKES!!
BF%: 20% (maybe more, maybe less...just depends on what you use to calculate)
waist: 29.75
hips: 38.5
thighs: 23.75
calves: 14
SO, there ya go. Now, its off to the garage with me for a BFL style LBWO.
