Day 62: Cardio

Just back from doing cardio. I did 2 miles in 20 minutes on the treadmill, then 20 minutes on the elliptical, and then 20 minutes on the recumbant bike. It felt good. I really wanted to run about 6 miles today but ye ole hammie was getting tight after only the 20 minutes and I dont want to risk reinjuring it.

I had some great cardio last night also!! No, not THAT kind of cardio. Greg and I went Salsa Dancing! It was awesome. I felt like a total dork, but it was fun. He's been doing Latin type dancing for years and is very good at it. When we came home last night, he told me that he was totally impressed by me. He felt I did really well considering it was my 1st time ever trying to salsa. I also learned the merengue and the pachanga (sorry probably spelled wrong.)

Meals have started getting much better in the evening. He and I had a great discussion about evening meals and its going much better. I cant believe I have 22 days left of my torch challenge. I gotta get on the ball. I haven't had much change since the week 4 pics and I'm afraid I've even back tracked a bit. I'm glad I'm able to get my cardio in again though, so I'm hoping that will really start helping!

Tonight is dinner at his parent's house. I've already met them but tonight is the first official "you're invited to dinner" night. She found out about a dish I *love* that my mom makes. Apparently, they have something similar to that in Russia and she's making it for me. Greg told me, "if I were you, I'd not eat all day because after you get done at my mom's house, you are going to be so full!!" European people are that way in the fact they FORCE you to eat!!! Germans are TOTALLY that way, and apparently so are Russians! Today is free day, so its all good!
